BSR/IICRC S220 Standard for Professional Inspection of Hard Surface Floor Coverings

With hard surface floor covering failures rising, there is a need for a third party unbiased inspection evaluation and methodologies of a procedural standard for professionally inspecting hard surface floor covering. The new BSR/IICRC S220 Standard on Hard Surface Floor Covering Inspection will include inspection of hard surface floor coverings; including stone, marble, laminate, wood, ceramic and resilient. The document will establish a procedural standard for professionally inspecting hard surface floor coverings.

The S220 Consensus Body Chairman is Jessica Bruno, and Vice Chairman is Andrew Campbell.

Why Participate?

ANSI/IICRC Standards are voluntary consensus based standards that are accepted as the standard of care in the industry. Those who participate have a vote on the Standard and can influence what is included and what is not. Participation gives you a voice in the development of the Standard.

Note: BSR is the ANSI Board of Standards Review that reviews and approves Standards as American National Standards. All new Standards under development are designated as BSR/IICRC till such time that they receive final approval from ANSI and can be published.
