   
As IICRC Certified Technicians accumulate various certifications, they become eligible for advanced designations: IICRC Journeyman status and the cleaning industry’s highest technical designation, IICRC Master status. Requirements to obtain these prestigious designations are outlined below.
JOURNEYMAN
You must have a minimum of one year as an
IICRC Certified Technician plus the attainment of specific certifications:
Journeyman Textile Cleaner (JTC)
CCT or CCMT + UFT
+OCT or CRT or RRT
JTC: One year active service in the industry after original certification date, plus attainment of specific designations. Designation will automatically be awarded upon attainment of the proper credits.
Journeyman Fire & Smoke Restorer (JSR)
UFT + OCT + FSRT
Journeyman Water Restorer (JWR)
CCT or CCMT + WRT + RRT
MASTER
You must have a minimum of three consecutive years as an
IICRC Certified Technician plus the attainment of specific certifications:
Master Textile Cleaner (MTC)
CCT or CCMT + UFT + OCT

RRT + CRT
Master Fire & Smoke Restorer (MSR)
CCT or CCMT + UFT + OCT
+
FSRT + HST or equivalent
Master Water Restorer (MWR)
CCT OR CCMT + RRT + WRT + ASD
+
AMRT or AMRS + HST or equivalent
