Upon achieving the certification, demonstrate you know how to perform maintenance-related tasks involving stone, masonry, and ceramic tile surfaces.

The Rug Cleaning Technician (RCT) certification covers area rug identification and appropriate cleaning techniques and methods to professional cleaning, restoration, inspection service providers, and others in related industries. Upon achieving the certification, you demonstrate you know cleaning theory, practical application, hands-on techniques, and understanding of cleaning limitations.

The Resilient Flooring Maintenance Technician (RFMT) certification covers resilient flooring maintenance. Upon achieving the certification, you demonstrate how to identify classifications within the resilient flooring category and know the basic raw materials used in the manufacturing process. Certification also demonstrates that you understand the resilient flooring life cycle, which includes the manufacture, installation, maintenance, and demolition of the products and the impact of environmental conditions on productivity and frequency of cleaning.

The Leather Cleaning Technician (LCT) certification covers leather identification and cleaning techniques for professional on-location cleaners, restoration, inspection service providers, and other related industries. Upon achieving the certification, you demonstrate you know the theory, practical application, proper identification of leather types, soiling conditions, and proper professional solutions to the cleaning challenges while performing the work in the field.

The House Cleaning Technician (HCT) certification covers the knowledge and understanding about applying science and proven methods for proper cleaning maintenance of a residential home. The HCT certification covers interior cleaning of residences, including sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces, non-disaster restoration, and routine maintenance. Upon achieving the certification, you demonstrate that you can clean a home effectively and safely.

The Floor Care Technician (FCT) certification is an introductory level certification that covers the cleaning industry’s best practices, principles, theories, methodology, and procedures to perform routine, periodic, and restorative cleaning and maintenance of hard surface flooring. Upon achieving the certification, you demonstrate you have the knowledge to identify flooring materials, composition, construction, properties, characteristics, and how they impact cleaning and maintenance.

The Commercial Carpet Maintenance Technician (CCMT) certification covers an academic and practical assessment of commercial carpet and maintenance processes and procedures. Emphasis is on the ANSI/IICRC S100 Standard for Professional Cleaning of Textile Floor Coverings, carpet cleaning methodologies, safety procedures, and developing standard operating procedures for individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Upon achieving this certification, you have demonstrated you know the importance of preventative, daily, interim, and deep cleaning and how they contribute to the overall success of the commercial carpet maintenance program.
