2016-2017 Election Results
In mid-October, the IICRC announced the election of five members to the 2016-2017 Board of Directors. Elections were held during the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Las Vegas.
October 2016 Standards Update
The IICRC has opened a public review for the new draft BSR-IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Remediation. The draft S540 Standard is available for public review and comment through Nov. 21.

Goodbye Patrick Winters
In 2009, when the IICRC Board of Directors decided to hire a paid executive, it wisely selected a seasoned nonprofit expert who specialized in organizational assessment. That person, Patrick Winters, retires at the end of this month after more than six years of stewardship.
