IICRC Launches New Consumer Web Site CertfiedCleaners.org Helps Home/Business Owners Find Credible Professionals September 8, 2004 -- Vancouver, WA
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), announced the availability of its new Web site: www.certifiedcleaners.org. Home and business owners can now rely on their online “cleaning and restoration industry guardians” to learn reliable tips from the industries’ top professionals and search through an online referral service to locate the nearest certified professional in their residential area.
The site is organized by topics including carpet cleaning, mold remediation and fire/smoke/water damage restoration. The new online resource will continue to expand as the IICRC updates its research and standards for the cleaning, inspection and restoration industries.
“CertifiedCleaners.org was created as a way for consumers to navigate through the comprehensive cleaning, inspection and restoration industries,” said Ruth Travis, vice-chair and marketing director for the IICRC. “By selecting an IICRC-Certified Firm or Technician, you have chosen trained professionals who will provide reasonable assurance that work will be completed in accordance with the Industry's standard of care.”
