Announcing:
The IICRC Supporter Program

Manufacturers and Industry-Related
Businesses Recognized

August, 1999

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), the national certifying body for firms and individuals in the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industry, is allowing manufacturers of chemicals and equipment to show their support for IICRC certification through a newly developed logo.

In the past, only IICRC certified firms or technicians could use the official IICRC logo. As a result, many manufacturers of chemicals and equipment that did not qualify for the certified firm status were unable to use the logo as a means to show their support for certification or the IICRC. To solve this problem, the Institute developed the new "Supporter Program" with its own distinctive logo that industry affiliated businesses can use in their advertising efforts, product packaging, etc.

The IICRC
Supporter's logo"Product manufacturers and other industry-related businesses are important to IICRC and its registrants," said Kenway Mead, IICRC Executive Administrator. "We hope to maintain a long and productive relationship with these individuals and businesses that believe in the certification of technicians and firms in our industry. We are happy to finally recognize them."

Applicants for the Supporter Program are required to make the commitment not only to support the Institute but also to sponsor new IICRC Certified Firms and to promote the IICRC concept. In return for their commitment and investment of $200.00 annually, they have the right to display the new logo and have a link from the Institute's web site to their own web site.

A new page has been designated on the IICRC web site for the links to The IICRC Supporter's web sites. Click here to view The IICRC Supporter's web page.

Companies interested in becoming an IICRC Supporter should follow the directions on The IICRC Supporter's web page.

NOTICE:

Since the Associations and the Media that were on the "Related Sites" web page are also IICRC Supporters, we have eliminated the "Related Sites" web page. You can now find their links on The IICRC Supporter's web page. If your Association or Media-related company is not listed in The IICRC Supporter's web page, please contact the IICRC Supporters Department of the IICRC Headquarters for an application.
