Web-Based Training Approved for CECs "A Guide to Oriental Rugs" from a2z, Inc. January 27th, 1999
The IICRC recently approved the first self-paced web-based learning program for Continuing Education Credits (CECs). "We are excited to be able to add alternative methods of training, making it easier for registrants to earn their CECs," said Lee Pemberton, IICRC Board member and chair of the Alternative Training Methods Task Force. "We feel that the approval of "A Guide to Oriental Rugs", a part of the a2z, Inc. website, is the first of many web-based and alternative training programs approved for CECs. Our goal is to eventually be able to offer certification programs via alternative methods."
CECs are required by The IICRC in order for registrants to maintain their certifications. Companies, associations and IICRC-approved schools interested in gaining CEC approval for their training programs are asked to contact the IICRC Headquarters at (360) 693-5675, or through e-mail at info@iicrc.org.
