Q. When were you first elected to the Board of Directors?
A. I was first elected in 2009.
Q. What is your shareholder affiliation?
A. My shareholder affiliation is Director At Large.
Q. What are your IICRC Certifications?
A. I currently do not hold any certifications, but did help draft both the S500 and S520 Standards.
Q. What is your "day job" and how long have you been doing it?
A. I have been an insurance broker and consultant specializing in environmental risk management for over 30 years.
Q. What other industry organizations are you active, what do you do for them and how could this benefit the IICRC?
A. I write study materials on environmental insurance for the CPCU (Society of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters) – the most prestigious professional organization in the insurance business.
Q. What are your hobbies/interests outside the industry that you would like to share?
A. I’m an avid outdoor sportsman (hunting and fishing).
Q. Please tell us about any awards or professional recognition received during your experience in the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry.
A. I have received an endurance award for S520 drafting.
Q. What do you personally wish to contribute to the IICRC during your term?
A. I will help the organization integrate IICRC standards into the workings of the insurance industry. I will also help with IICRC risk management concerns.
Q. What areas of expertise do you have that would be beneficial to the IlCRC?
A. I have an MBA and am proficient in marketing.
