Q. When were you first elected to the Board of Directors?

     A. I was first elected in 2001.

Q. What position(s) do you hold on the Board?

     A. I am a Director.

Q. What is your shareholder affiliation?

     A. My shareholder affiliation is Association (WFCA – World Floor Covering Association).

Q. What committees with IICRC do you chair or participate?

     A. I participate in the Nominating and Marketing committees.

Q. What are your IICRC Certifications?

     A. I have none.

Q. What is your "day job" and how long have you been doing it?

     A. I have been president and CEO of the World Floor Covering Association for over fifteen years.

Q. What other industry organizations are you active, what do you do for them and how could this benefit the IICRC?

     A. I’m the president and CEO of the Floor Covering Industry Foundation – an industry charity. I also obtain free exhibit space by being an official sponsor and consultant for the Surfaces Trade Show. I am also part of the Floor Covering Industry Issues Council, in which the IICRC participates.

Q. What are your hobbies/interests outside the industry that you would like to share?

     A. My hobbies and interests include: home improvement, interior design, and auto racing.

Q. Please tell us about any awards or professional recognition received during your experience in the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry.

     A. I was awarded the Industry Connections Award in 2004.

Q. What do you personally wish to contribute to the IICRC during your term?

     A. I’d like to bring both stability and focus to the board.

Q. What areas of expertise do you have that would be beneficial to the IlCRC?

     A. My areas of expertise include: marketing and communications, association management, and legislative advocacy.

Q. Do you have any government, civic, regulatory contacts that would assist the IICRC in meeting its mission, goals and objectives?

     A. The WFCA has an extensive governmental relations program and retains legislative counsel in Washington, DC to monitor legislative and regulatory activity. The WFCA has also participated in various coalitions with other industry associations to advance legislation.
