A. I was first elected in 1989 and then again in 2007 (until present).

A. I am a Director.
Q. What is your shareholder affiliation?
A. My shareholder affiliation is Association – NYRCI (New York Rug Cleaners Institute).
Q. What committees with IICRC do you chair or participate?
A. I’m a member of the Audit Committee.
Q. What are your IICRC Certifications?
A. My IICRC certifications include: CRT (Color Repair Technician), CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician), UFT (Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning), WDT (Water Damage Technician), OCT (Odor Control Technician), SCI (Senior Carpet Inspector), SMT (Stone, Masonry & Tile Care Technician), FCT (Floor Care Technician), and ISSI (Introduction to Substrate & Subfloor Inspection).
Q. What is your "day job" and how long have you been doing it?
A. I’m the CEO of Fabra Cleen (since 2000); I’ve worked full time in the industry since 1975.
Q. What other industry organizations are you active, what do you do for them and how could this benefit the IICRC?
A. NYRCI, MIA, LIFCA (Long Island Floor Covering Association), WFCA (World Floor Covering Association).
Q. What are your hobbies/interests outside the industry that you would like to share?
A. I enjoy spending time with my family.
Q. Please tell us about any awards or professional recognition received during your experience in the cleaning, restoration and inspection industry.
A. I’ve been awarded NBD’s “Man of the Year” on a few occasions.
Q. What do you personally wish to contribute to the IICRC during your term?
A. I’d like to provide intelligent input without politics.
Q. What areas of expertise do you have that would be beneficial to the IlCRC?
A. My areas of expertise include: communication, sales and ethics.
