fingerprint dust & marker

got a homeowner whose home was just broken into.  The forensic team left black fingerprint dust all over the white front door and marker all over the vinyl coated slider door. I need to get it clean or get the oily part off so new paint won’t peel.
Any suggestions?

We did this before after a burglary and we vacuumed thoroughly first with no beater bar, just suction.  We then used Butler multi-purpose and some pro’s choice power gel and pro-solve gel.  It’s been a while but I remember most of it coming off with the multi-purpose and the rest we removed with the power gel or pro-solve gel.

I called a couple of companies who specialize in Trauma scene cleanup.  I was given a laundry list of items they had used to remove the powder.  In the end what worked best was windex glass cleaner and clorox wet wipes.  The wet wipes took off the permanent marker 100%.
