Registration Open for First-of-its-Kind IICRC Restoration Conference & CIRI Symposium

IICRC’s  Journal of Cleaning, Restoration & Inspection will host a first-of-its-kind Restoration Conference & CIRI Symposium April 10 – 11, 2016, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta. Held on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), the conference is jointly sponsored by the IICRC and the Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI).

The inaugural IICRC Restoration Conference & CIRI Symposium will feature cutting-edge presentations from leading scientists based on original research and reviews of existing research. There will also be lively panel presentations and discussions about the new IICRC S500 and S520 standards, ISSA Clean Standards, as well as a preview of a new fire/smoke standard.

Presentations Specific to Restoration & Remediation include:

The Effect of Restoration Processes on Building Structures and Furnishings: A Building Science Perspective. Presentations by Ralph Moon, PhD, principal scientist, HSA Engineers & Scientists, Tampa, FL; Brad Kovar, president and CEO, Safeguard EnviroGroup, Glendora, CA; third and fourth presenters to be announced.

The Use of Hydroxyl Technology in Post Fire Odor Control. Presented by Michael Pinto, CEO of Wonder Makers Environmental, Kalamazoo, MI.
