IICRC Technical Conference Announces Initial Presenter Lineup

The IICRC’s Journal of Cleaning, Restoration & Inspection will host its inaugural Restoration Conference & CIRI Symposium April 10 – 11, 2016, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center in Atlanta. The conference will feature cutting-edge presentations from leading scientists based on original research and reviews of existing research.

“The Use of DNA Sequencing to Assess the Effectiveness of ATP Testing and Water-Damaged Environments”

Presenters: Dr. Jordan Peccia is Associate Professor of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at Yale University. The focus of Dr. Peccia’s work is application of molecular biology to environmental science and engineering; bioaerosol detection and source tracking, microarrays and other high throughput measurements, production of functional binding biomolecules, biological production of sustainable fuels, and land application of biosolids.

Dr. Richard Shaughnessy is a world-renowned IAQ expert and director of the Department of Indoor Air Quality at the University of Tulsa. Dr. Shaughnessy leads many federally funded projects to improve indoor air quality for our nation's schools. Dr. Shaughnessy is also involved in privately funded research projects in the United States and abroad.
